WIN my favorite Metallic Paint!

Hi friends!

Did you see this easy, peasy sewing table makeover I did using Modern Master's line of Metallic Paints?

I sanded the glossier areas of the wood to ensure the paint would grip, then applied two coats of paint, and voila - the easiest makeover I've done yet. You can read about it here if you'd like.

Well, the generous folks over there at Modern Masters want YOU to be able to try it for free! Details on how to enter are below, for now, just cruise this post and get inspired. Then enter!

Metallics are VERY hot right now. Check out the metallic molding featured in ELLE Decor - it's definitely a fashion forward project you could tackle with a quart of Modern Masters!

and this piece from Horchow is scrumptious...

My friend Michele over at Stiltskin Studios knocked it out of the park with this Modern Masters makeover in Warm Silver...

Visit her blog and read all about it.

I'm loving these gold tables featured on Decor Pad.

And oh my, the metallic door here is pure amazingness. I love teal and gold together.

While I love cruising the home decor sites, I find I am most often actually inspired by fashion - so here's a couple more images to get your motor going. I love to re-imagine the current fashion trends onto my favorite medium - furniture!

These shoes look a little like Modern Master's shade of green called "Candy Apple." Can't you see a fun nightstand in this color, amidst a sweet little girl's room filled with pinks and greens?
Oooh! Or with hot pink, for the edgier teen girl in your life?

This looks like Modern Master's shade "Burnt Orange."
I am currently trying to incorporate orange into my home - I love it in little pops, like on frames and pillows. This shade would be perfect for the ornate mirror I have that goes above a simple creamy white dresser.  It's fun and unexpected.

Ok, and these jeans!

I LOVE that they are metallic and dusty looking at the same time. I want to try painting the base/shell of a dresser in a red metallic like Modern Master's "Sashay Red", and then leave the drawer faces in wood, just as rustic and pallet-like as can be.

So are you ready to add some metallic into your home?

The lucky winner will get their choice of the following products:
